My daughter is 5 months in 4 days I was wondering why is it that she can't sleep through the night she at least wakes up twice every night is there something I should try or do?
Answer: Hi, It's absolutely normal for babies to continue waking for at least one feed overnight until they are at least 6 months of age. Their stomach size does not accommodate a larger volume of milk which would sustain them for any longer than around six hours before they need feeding again. Check with your CHN about your baby's growth and have her plot your little ones growth on a percentile chart. This will give you a clear idea how she is going. And at 5 months she's old enough to be offered solid foods which may also help to support her to sleep for longer overnight. Best Jane
