Answer: Hi, Overall, this could be a good sign as it means he's probably getting plenty of milk and his urine output is satisfactory. The newborn nappies should be keeping him dry but perhaps if he's weeing a lot then you may need to change him more frequently. Another tip is that with boys it can help when changing their nappy to direct their penis down so it is positioned where the maximum absorbency is designed to be in the nappy. And make sure you position the tabs so they're comfortably secure. And check the waistband is secure as well without being too tight. If you're still unsure then check with your child health nurse to see if she's got any ideas. Best Jane
